There will always be great Manhattan restaurants where part of their unique character is the excitement, personality, and fun a New York strolling musician adds to the dining experience. We performed in the legendary Mama Leone’s Italian restaurant where live strolling musicians were part of the exciting New York City experience. We still remember the celebrities, the guest performers, couples holding hands, and the magical nights of serenade as someone “popped the question” with great rounds of applause. Our superb European musicians have been featured in The Russian Tea Room, one of Manhattan’s most extraordinary restaurants. How about Little Italy in lower Manhattan? Our Italian musicians were an essential part of the feast of San Gennaro and years ago you could always find them performing at Vincent’s Italian restaurant, a Little Italy landmark established in 1904. Over the years, Manhattan’s elite society welcomed our musicians for cultural presentations, industry and trade shows, corporate events, and private affairs. We've had the honor of performing for our New York mayors, senators, borough presidents, dignitaries of culture, as well as New York’s Finest, New York’s Bravest, New York's Strongest, and New York’s Brightest. Our highest honor was to represent New York City in Italy as musical ambassadors performing at the Big Apple Messina festival in 1988. For over twenty years, we've maintained our strong dedication to culture. We are recognized by the New York State Council on the Arts and have been awarded numerous grants for concert performance.
Staten Island’s restaurant scene kept our musicians strolling for the last fifteen years. A serenading violinist at the hotels, beach spots, and waterfront restaurants or a mandolin player at an Italian trattoria, café, or bistro made Staten Island restaurant dining unique, lively, and fun. Our strolling musicians have Staten Island’s stamp of approval. We’re proud to be a very popular choice for the many private parties in Staten Island! We love Staten Island!
Brooklyn, New York is an international home to so many cultures and some of our incredibly skilled violinists reside there. The Russian American community of Brooklyn brings us extraordinary violinists who perform as Violinatta strolling musicians. Brooklyn also has a soft spot for the Italian mandolin. Brooklyn likes to celebrate Italian style with Bella Mandolins. Our Bella Boys love Sheepshead Bay, Bensonhurst, Bay Ridge, Caroll Gardens, Park Slope, and Williamsburg, where they made us an offer we can’t refuse. We play for all the weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and especially the christenings! How about Coney Island? We treasure Coney Island for all its history and the great places we perform in. Coney Island has the one and only Gargiulo’s restaurant, a great New York landmark for over 100 years. Our mandolin group played for Gargiulo’s 100th anniversary party. We love Gargiulo’s, Coney Island, and fantastic one of a kind Brooklyn! Hey Brooklyn! How Sweet it is!
The fascinating borough of Queens is a thriving patchwork of unique neighborhoods that are culturally diverse. Our musicians display their talents to reach a wide audience. The Asian American community of Queens, in particular, has a great appreciation for the violin. Our strolling violin players enjoy performing for Asian banquets and Chinese weddings at Main Street Chinatown in Flushing, Queens. Our musicians also love Astoria, Elmhurst, Forest Hills, Long Island City, Bayside, Corona, Ozone Park, and Middle Village just to name a few places we toured in Queens. How about Howard Beach? Howard Beach is a home away from home for our Italian Bella Mandolins. Russo’s on the Bay is a favorite place for an Italian celebration in Howard Beach. Bella Mandolins are proud to be part of the great Italian traditions highlighted at Russo’s on the Bay at Howard Beach.
Little Italy. Dion and the Belmonts. Arthur Avenue. We love it! We’ll see you at the feast on Arthur Avenue in Little Italy over at the Belmont section of the Bronx! "Can I have a dozen Sfogliatelle and Cannoli please?" "You got it baby!" We love our thriving Italian culture in the Bronx! We proudly keep the continuing tradition of beautiful Italian mandolin and guitar as we celebrate our Italian American heritage. Bella Mandolins and our Bella Boys send greetings and salutations to Little Italy, the famous Arthur avenue, and all our friends in the great Italian Belmont section of the Bronx! Buona Salute!
